Please remember most of us being raised in the cult had parents who listen to men from the platform who would give talks on child rearing who never had children. Of course there information came from other men who never had no children. I personally wish I would have never listen to what they said. Another example of how destructive this cult is. Kids Without Rules

they are allowed to do whatever they want and if someone says something to them they don’t want to hear, they blow them off, ignore them or engage in disrespectful talk.. what’s wrong with today’s parents??
they are producing a generation of entitled brats!.

Coping/Living/Understanding
by justangel ini’m relatively new to this forum but am far from new when it comes to living life as a jw.
i wanted to throw out there my own personal experience and feelings and welcome any conversations (i’m mighty chatty and don’t have much for friends when it comes to jw’s) .
i hit the turning of an era nearly a month ago of legally becoming an adult, raised as a j dub my whole life.

I totally understand where you coming from. Under the borg rule you learned self discipline in their thinking. Learn how you can take that discipline and use it to your advantage when seeking your freedom and becoming your authentic self. This will help you from falling into bad situations that come as a result of being raised in a cult. There is so much good outside the cult but there is also bad. So be careful. It's up to you with this responsibility and no one else's. Good luck to you and remember any problems or questions you have found a place to come and safely get advice or comfort. Should You Be Required To Wear A Coronavirus Mask?

one massachusetts city requires anyone from 5 up to wear a mask.
some cities require masks and have shut down parks and sports playing while others in a nearby town have no such restrictions.

In NY you have to wear a mask if you are in public areas. If you take a walk with no one around or at lease 6 feet apart no mask needed but close contact you need a mask. My next door neighbor sewed two very nice masks. Mine is blue. Still Totally ADD

Jimmy believe it or not I know all that. I am just saying it would be a good time to change are ways even more to renewable energy. Time to wean ourselves off the teat of big oil. I also know oil is more than just fuel. It also used in manufacturing all kinds of things, medicine and god knows how many other things we are not aware of. That's all. Still Totally ADD

Hard to pick between the two. Put which one will survive if we go into a total collapse of our economy? I feel the mormons will take care of each other while the JW's will be every man for themselves. The borg will become a shadow of them selves. That said magic underwear looks pretty good. my best friend’s wife just called to tell me that my friend had to be hospitalized due to severe coronavirus complications.
he has severe pneumonia, is put on a ventilator and is in a coma .

Today April 20th a barrel of oil is worth nothing and no where to store it. Yet at the same time renewable energy is growing each year. Hopefully one day we will get off the need for so much oil. Still Totally ADD
